I’m continuing on Thursday’s theme of 2020 being the year of living dangerously for Democrats in particular.

For sports fans House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic committee chairs are using the old University of North Carolina basketball delay called “Four Corners”. Devised under then-coach Dean Smith, this tactic would be used to take much time off the clock at the end of a winning game.

Well Rep. Adam Schiff, Rep. Jerry Nadler, Rep. Eric Swalwell and Rep. Pelosi cannot stack up to the UNC players of that era in taking the air out of the ball and they are certainly not winning.

The two Articles of Impeachment Pelosi holds could be dead on Monday unless she walks them over the 70 feet to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s office. There’s a Senate measure being introduced by Missouri Republican Josh Hawley to kill the articles if not presented to the Senate by Monday.

But that will not bother the House leadership because they will hold other impeachment hearings by February. The charges? Does it matter? It did not matter this time.

Like the previous impeachment hearings, it will be a smoke screen to fog the truth coming out on Ukraine and the 2016 SpyGate scandal.

I believe that Federal Attorney John Durham will begin issuing indictments into the FISA/SpyGate scandal against Obama administration players just weeks before the 2020 Democratic National Convention starts on July 13 in Milwaukee.

This will throw the party into disarray, which will distract and take them off message, while trying to keep their base intact.
