What’s in the skies above us?
Well, John Ratcliffe, the former Director of National Intelligence under President Donald Trump, can’t tell us for sure, but he is very concerned.
Ratcliffe — speaking with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo — said, “There are a lot more sightings than have been made public. Some of those have been declassified.”
The ex-top spook was referencing an upcoming Pentagon report that will detail if these sighting pose any threat and if they are enemy controlled.
Ratcliffe went on to say, “And when we talk about sightings we are talking about objects that have been seen by Navy or Air Force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain.
“Movements that are hard to replicate that we don’t have the technology for. Or traveling at speeds that exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom.”
An extensive classified report is to be issued by the Pentagon by June 1 for other government agencies, with a brief unclassified section to be released to the public at that time.
Ratcliffe concluded the discussion by admitting many of these Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) sightings are across the globe and are not “just a pilot or just a satellite, or some intelligence collection. Usually we have multiple sensors that are picking up these things … some of these are unexplained phenomena, and there is actually quite a few more than have been made public,” he added.
There have been previous reports of UAPs flying over missile silos and altering the system control modules of the outfit.
Sen. Marco Rubio reiterated this week his concerns over UAPs and our national security.
The acting chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence said, “We have things flying over our military bases and places where we are conducting military exercises and we don’t know what it is — and it isn’t ours.”
“Frankly, that if it’s something from outside this planet — that might actually be better than the fact that we’ve seen some technological leap on behalf of the Chinese or the Russians or some other adversary that allows them to conduct this activity,” Rubio added.
