Ukraine airline crashes outside Tehran, 176 lost

An Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 crashed on Wednesday, killing all 176 souls aboard shortly after taking off from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini airport.

The plane was bound for Kiev with 82 people from Iran, 63 from Canada, 11 Ukrainians, 10 Swedes, 4 Afghanis, 3 Germans and 3 from the UK.

Ukraine International Airlines said on Wednesday that a Boeing 737-800 involved in the fatal crash was one of its best planes and that its pilots were very experienced.

Airline officials said there was no sign that anything was wrong before the plane took off  and that it had last been serviced two days ago.

Iran officials have stated that it will not turn over the black box to Boeing on Wednesday.

The crash occurred shortly after Iran military launched missiles on US troop positions in Iraq.

The flight manifest has been released, however many names on the list have been blurred out by Iran transportation officials.

My big question is this. If a missile took down the flight, then did the Iran arms used come out of the Ukraine some three years ago?
