A Saint Patrick’s Day remembrance

On this Saint Patrick’s Day I take time to personally reflex on the lost of my 16 year-old Maine Coon cat Magillicutty.

As is the breed Magillicutty was a big boy coming in at about 25 lbs. He was bigger than one of my dogs.

He had his own sense of self and would love to spend time with me. Whether sitting outside on the porch or sleeping in bed making my leg go numb from his weight.

I am going to miss him greatly and the fact that he passed around Saint Patrick’s Day will allow me to remember his passing each year.

Magillicutty: May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day everyone.
