It appears Mayor Eric Adams wants to place more than just the migrant problem into the hands of President Joe Biden.
Adams responding to a reporters question on “Where is the president on this issue,” said, “That is a good question. I think we all should be asking, ‘Why is this happening to a city that was turning itself around and will continue to do so?’”
Turning itself around? Really?
Crime is still out of control, city services for residents is lacking, and a general malaise is covering the five boros.
“This should not be happening to New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and the other big northern cities,” Adams added. “And really it should not be happening to El Paso or Brownsville, Texas. No city should be carrying this burden. This is a national problem and it needs a national solution.”
While Adams is right on the need for a national solution, he stopped short of suggesting any concrete measures — like building a wall.
For all of Adams’ jawboning about the migrant crisis the only measure the Biden administration has taken was to kick Adams off of the Biden’s re-election campaign national leadership advisory team last week — while other state and local Democrats made the cut.
As the saying goes no man is an island, but Adams seems to have exiled himself from Democratic leadership in Albany and D.C.
So now he can point fingers at them for our woes.
It appears that’s how the progressives operate. No one is held accountable for crazy far left ideas that backfire on us all.
Vets moved out to streets to be replaced by illegals. This is corrupt government behavior as it shows it’s lying, thieving, embezzlement. Treating our vets like this is criminal
