France's justifiable reaction has many levels

The rhetoric after the heart-wrenching massacre that occurred in Paris Friday night is ramping up.

Pope Francis condemned the shooting and bombing — that has claimed 128 souls and hundreds of injured — saying the  attacks are part of a disorganized World War III.

French President Francois Hollande has also — perhaps more justified — declared the attack an “act of war”.

As I wrote earlier this month, do not be surprised by the war card being played to get out of the economic malaise the world been mired in for over seven years.

As the G-20 is set to start in Turkey on Monday, this gives a large forum for further drumbeat of war to be played on a huge stage.

So while the attack is anew and the wounds fresh, the reasons behind retribution may be more plentiful than one would think.
