No Russian collusion, time to bring down The Hammer

Now that we have the Senate Intelligence Committee deciding on a bipartisan conclusion that there is no direct evidence of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia, perhaps it’s time to bring down The Hammer.

For those unaware, The Hammer was an alleged Obama administration spying operation run by CIA Director John Brennan and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

According to whistleblower Dennis Montgomery, who designed system to spy on Donald Trump before he even declared he would run for president.

Larry Klayman, lawyer for former NSA and CIA contractor and whistleblower Montgomery, states he delivered to then-FBI Director James Comey 47 hard drives and data amounting to more than 600 million pages of documentation on the surveillance scheme along with a sworn deposition by Montgomery’s on his dealings with the Obama White House on The Hammer program.

Other notables spied upon were Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, Judge Reginald (Reggie) Walton who at the time was the presiding judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and Lt. General Michael Flynn and  thousands of American citizens.

In March 2017,  Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, a retired United States Air Force Lieutenant General, broke the news about this operation.

We have two sources of collaboration on the existence of this operation.

In text messages unearthed by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz we find this exchange between FBI investigator Peter Strzok and his gal pal FBI lawyer Lisa Page a few hours after McInerney broke the news.

“Say nothing, I’m not going to respond to the whole group. The Klayman, Montgomery stuff Jim (Comey?) just sent us is utter BS. Yes, best to say nothing and debrief later if necessary.”

The existence of this surveillance program was also included in Wikileaks’ “Vault 7” release.

Remember this operation was running almost two years before the false Russian collusion charges were levied against President Trump and a FISA warrant was issued against Carter Page.

So it appears that the collusion charges and the “legal” spying through FISA court may have been concocted as a mechanism to somehow cover up or codify The Hammer operation with a veil of legality.

FBI lawyer Lisa Page’s congressional testimony

A very important story came out on Friday from Jeff Carlson. I read it then but needed more time to research it, since it is quite a bit to go over.

Carlson received the transcripts of two closed-door testimonies by Lisa Page, the former assistant general counsel at the FBI from July 2018. I am only touching on one aspect of the transcripts, if interested please click on link to view the complete article.

Among the key revelations in the transcript is Obama CIA Director John Brennan’s early involvement in disseminating the information that would ultimately wind up in the Steele dossier. Brennan briefed President Obama in early August 2016 and Democratic leader Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada some days later.

These meeting are almost a month before the FBI would find out about the dossier and launch “Crossfire Hurricane” its probe resulting from the Steele dossier.

In Brennan’s earlier congressional testimony he stated: “In consultation with the White House, I personally briefed the full details of our understanding of Russian attempts to interfere in election to congressional leadership, specifically Senators Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, Dianne Feinstein and Richard Burr; and to Representatives Paul Ryan, Nancy Pelosi, Devon Nunes and Adam Schiff between 11, August and 6, September.”

So what comes from Page’s testimony, which is the most surprising to me, is that the FBI “Crossfire Hurricane” probe into Russian collusion was a top down investigation perhaps ordered from the Obama White House resulting from CIA Director Brennan’s briefing.

Then FBI begins looking into the Steele Dossier, although they believe they are initiating the probe since Steele is an FBI asset.

Please give the full article a read.

Here are some other key findings from the testimony:

  • The FBI appears to have considered investigating President Trump for obstruction of justice both before and after FBI Director James Comey was fired.
  • Page says the DOJ refused to pursue “gross-negligence” charges against Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server to send classified information.
  • FBI agent Michael Gaeta, head of the Eurasian Crime Squad, who received the dossier from former MI6 spy Steele in July 2016 is referred to in the transcript as Steele’s handler.
  • The FBI maintained a previously unknown verification file for the Steele dossier. Congressional investigators did not previously know of its existence.
  • John Carlin, the head of the DOJ’s National Security Division, was kept abreast of the FBI’s investigative activities through contact with then-Deputy FBI Director McCabe.
  • Page worked directly for DOJ official Bruce Ohr for at least five years and had met his wife, Nellie, once.
  • The role of FBI Agent Jonathan Moffa and DOJ official George Toscas may have been greater than initially assumed.

Lt. Gen. Flynn is the ‘keystone’ to FISA and Russian collusion plan

Lt. General Michael Flynn was the driving force behind the Russian collusion plan to undermine the Trump administration from the beginning.

Flynn was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in the Obama administration from 2012-2014. He was a critic of the administration’s dealings with radical Islamists. Flynn lost a battle to CIA Director John Brennan — a Muslim by faith — and the White House of his assessment of the US involvement in Syria.

Flynn was feared and despised by the Obama White House for his views on radical Islamist and his deep knowledge of State Department and CIA involvement with Islamist extremists in Iran and Syria.

After leaving the Obama White House, Flynn traveled to Russia and meets with Russia government officials as a civilian. He is attends a dinner with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

While Flynn did all the appropriate actions for the Russian trip — he met with DIA staff before leaving to let them know of the trip, he was briefed before on how to deal with the Russian questions and he was debriefed on what he discovered afterward. All above-board and reportedly helpful to the intelligence community.

So in 2015 Flynn begins speaking with the Trump campaign. Obama’s staff is furious and knows it needs to silence Flynn because he knows too much.

In late 2015 enter Stefan Halper, a career CIA asset working then as a Senior Fellow at Cambridge University. I believe Halper was brought in by Brennan to set up Flynn as colluding with the Russians. That’s where the whole Russian plan was hatched.

Halper was key to bringing in Fusion/GPS and Christopher Steele to produce the dossier with its first target being Flynn.

Flynn was most likely the subject of the first FISA application in the late spring of 2016 for his trip to Russia. However, the FISA court turned down the application because it did not show Flynn broke any laws.

In order to get the FISA court to approve spying on American citizens you need to show: a) The citizen was working with a foreign government, which in and of itself is not unlawful and b) broke the law like fraud or providing classified information.

The original application had no law broken, so it was denied. The Halper and Co. then went after Carter Page in the FISA court later in 2016 to spy on the Trump administration.

This is why Flynn remains free even after admitting guilt to minor charges brought by the DOJ/FBI for speaking with Russians after Trump’s election, but before he took office. Ironically FBI’s Peter Strzok was the agent that interviewed Flynn at the White House without a lawyer and brought these charges.

Obama administration still needed to silence Flynn from joining the Trump team as the National Security Advisor since he knew where all the Obama bodies are buried.

One last “indictment” on Flynn. When Trump meets with Obama after the election the only name brought up by Obama is Flynn telling Trump not to trust him.

This is why I say Lt. General Michael Flynn is the keystone to the whole Russian dossier.

Pipe bomb investigation is troubling from the get go

The “mail bombs” discovered Wednesday targeting former and present Democratic leaders and media  outlet CNN has all the markings of an intimidation tactic. Now, against whom is the big question?

Judging by the immediate reaction to the event — CNN hosts began excoriating President Trump for his fake news rhetoric as the cause for these actions — without a shred of evidence that said where the packages came from, may shed some light on what the culprit was aiming to accomplish.

Packages were discovered to be sent to former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former CIA Director John Brennan, former Attorney General Eric Holder, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif.and early Thursday morning a similar envelope was discovered in lower Manhattan at the offices of actor Robert De Niro.

The most puzzling of the targets was the  “device” delivered to ex-Obama CIA Director John Brennan’s office at CNN in Midtown Manhattan since Brennan does not even work for CNN, according to his Wikipedia page, but instead serves as a senior national security and intelligence analyst for NBC News and MSNBC, which are located blocks away at 30 Rock.

That said, the biggest question is why was a photo allowed to be taken and distributed to media of the “bomb” intact?

Surely if this was a deadly device then it would have been taken to bomb detonation site to be analyzed and dismantled and not to allow unauthorized personnel to take photos. Also law enforcement has now lost the ability to know who the bomber is through intimate information of the design that only the sender would know. That’s gone since photos are all over the news.

No law enforcement agency including NYPD bomb detectives or FBI agents would allow images released if this was a credible threat.

Surly the NYPD Bomb Squad knew what the were looking at when they arrived on the scene, but needed to take the necessary precautions and follow protocols. It would not look good to pick it up in plain clothes and walk out and throw it in the back of a squad car.

According to a military bomb expert these devices should have had the words A.C.M.E written on them and carried by Wily E. Coyote as he mailed them to Mr. Road Runner.

A former Navy  bomb disposal officer named Tom Sauer said this on Twitter Wednesday:

Proper pipe bombs don’t have wires connected to both ends. That’s dumb.

You can find timers / remote control receivers WAY smaller than whatever that white box is. A proper timer would best be stored inside the pipe, making it fully encapsulated. That thing is just silly looking.

Bottom Line: Whoever made that [pipe bomb] wanted it to be painfully obvious to anyone and everyone that it’s a “bomb.” This is nearly the same as a bundle of road flares wrapped together with an old-timey alarm clock ticking away.

I am very interested to see what the feds find out about the sender of these packages. I am not jumping to the conclusion that this was a ardent Trump supporter. Intimidation works many ways.

Will Mueller report look the other way?

Special counsel Robert Mueller will not release his Russia/Trump collusion report until after the midterm elections, it was reported on Wednesday.

In another touch of irony Mueller will present his findings to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who assigned Mueller and determines what parts of the report Congress and the American people can see.

Due to Attorney General Jeff Sessions recusing himself from the Russian collusion probe, Rosenstein became the point person.

So let’s see what Mueller has done so far with this assignment.

He has brought assorted pre-election charges against campaign Trump associates that have nothing to do with the campaign. Paul Manafort, who Mueller flipped after pleading guilty to bank and tax fraud charges, allegedly testified on a Trump Tower meeting between the campaign and Russian operatives.

I believe the meeting consisted of Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner.

So now let’s lay out what Mueller may not report or be able to release.

  • Will Mueller cite his former staffer and colleagues in perpetuating a fraud on the American people by taking a partisan, oppositional report and ramming it through the FISA court to get a warrant against an American citizen to spy on him?
  • Will Mueller cite Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan getting UK allies to spy on American citizens?
  • Will Mueller tell Congress that the Obama White House received daily intelligence briefings on the Trump campaign through these fraudulent spy warrants?
  • Will Mueller throw former colleague and FBI Director James Comey under the bus for his illegal activities?
  • Will Mueller discuss the topics discussed by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch when she met with Bill Clinton in a “surprise meeting” on the tarmac at Phoenix airport?

Although I have only scratched the surface of the Democratic Party’s actions during the run up to the 2016 presidential election, that’s quite a laundry list of complaints for Mueller to look the other way on.

While I thought this time was going to be consumed with news of Democrats fraudulent acts during the 2016 election through the release of the declassified FISA documents, it appears the fix is in to use this information — right now — for political gain.

As I wrote earlier that Trump’s team may have used the Five Eyes revelations that UK spies violated Americans privacy to get Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to sign off on the new NAFTA agreement.

So from where I stand today, an October Surprise may not be in the offering this cycle. But one can hope can’t they.
