How strange was the closing statement in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial by lead prosecutor Thomas Binger, when he aimed an AR-15 at the jury with his finger on the trigger.

It appears Binger has learned his gun safety from Alec Baldwin.

The most important rules of gun safety are:

• Every weapon is loaded
• Never aim your weapon at something you don’t mean to shoot
• Never put your finger on the trigger until you’re ready to shoot

I am not sure how the jury took to this act. I assume many in the jury have extensive experience with firearms and did not take the act as instructive. Many probably thought it was a dangerous transgression from an uninformed, irresponsible person.
