The progressive left came out in force against ​former Ambassador to the United Nations ​Nikki Haley after she announced her run for the nomination of the Republican Party in the 2024 election.

Surprisingly an MSNBC guest came down on her immigration roots. “​I see her​ ​and I feel sad because she uses her brown skin as a weapon against poor black folks and poor brown folks, and she uses her brown skin to launder white supremacist talking points​,” said Daily Beast columnist Wajahat Ali.

Haley, ​51, the former South Carolina governor whose parents were immigrants from India, announced her bid last week to challenge former President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination in 2024.

Thank God Haley doesn’t have ties to another favorite religion.

Despite not being a fan of Haley, but seeing the force that the progressive left exerted in belittling her, it looks like 2024 will be a scourged earth election.

Last week, “CNN This Morning” co-host Don Lemon sparked an uproar when he claimed Haley was not “in her prime” after she called for mental competency tests for politicians over the age of 75.

“If you Google when is a woman in her prime, it’ll say 20s, 30s and 40s,” the 56-year-old Lemon said on Thursday’s show.

Truth be told Lemon should be right next to Chris Coumo on an obscure podcast making no money, just like the CNN paid service that was closed down three weeks after launching.

Yes this election will be brutal. It will be a battle within the Republican and Democratic parties.

But to see the progressive left — to their detriment — denigrate the first candidate out of the gate on racial issues shows it will be ugly.

The good news is Lemon will probably not be involved in the discussion over at CNN.
