How is it that when it comes to life and death issues, “My Body, My Choice” only works sometimes?
As the debate heats up over the Supreme Court’s leaked draft opinion that would strike down Roe v. Wade the phrase “MB,MC” has been all the rage to combat overturning federal abortion rights.
However, when anti-vaccination advocates employed the phrase during CoVid-19 progressives would hear none of that and took away actual Constitutional rights printed in the document, the right to assemble in public, the right to practice your religion, and the right to free speech to name just a few inalienable rights.
Remember, there is no right to an abortion in the Constitution, it was a jerry-rigged under the right to a woman’s privacy.
That being said, out-going White House spokesperson Jen Psaki on Thursday declined to condemn progressive activist plans to protest for abortion rights at the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices.
Psaki, would not condemn the postings on the web of the home addresses of Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Barrett Coney and Chief Justice John Roberts.
No Psaki called the actions “peaceful protests” in order to protect a women’s right to a abortion.
“The president’s view is that there’s a lot of passion, a lot of fear, a lot of sadness from many, many people across this country about what they saw in that leaked document,” she said. “We obviously want people’s privacy to be respected. We want people to protest peacefully if they want to protest. That is certainly what the president’s view would be,” Psaki concluded.
