The last two weeks I have been chasing rumors. I often read about mainstream media ignoring these important developments that the powers that be are doing to the population.

I have been speaking to two different courts located in The Hague only to discover that there was no action taken by the Chinese government against the US to have a world court order the Obama administration return gold or place a lien against a gold cache in the US.

Secondly, the report of “salted gold bars,” the 400 oz. gold-plated tungsten bars in China cannot be confirmed either.

Now, I have not simply done a Web search on these subjects and determined there was no there, there.

I have spoken to participants on all sides of these stories to get to the truth on these subjects. I’m not saying that because I looked into this and found nothing, that that is it, it does not exist.

No these stories may in fact be true, but as of this writing, there is no person or entity will confirm that these events occurred.

Now to the second part of this message. People on the Web rant about MSM ignoring these reports. As a business editor at the NY Post, I have a higher level of verification to confirm these stories.And the last two weeks I will not get back trying to confirm these “stories.”

Conversely, two weeks ago I wrote here and here on this blog that Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and the Plunge Protection Team met twice the day the the House of Representatives convened a closed session just prior to Bear Stearns collapsing.

This story received the least number of hits of any story I have posted on this site. This was an exclusive report that as of this writing has not appeared in any print media. The reporting took many weeks to find all the data needed to verify and track down people to go on record to speak about this action. Unfortunately no one could confirm on the record, because it is treasoness to speak about a closed session.

Okay the rant is over and I cannot control what is news and what is not, but I need to say this. If rumors cannot be confirmed and you allow these to take up too much space in your thoughts, you may miss the real news.
