Let me see if I have this right. We are supposed to accept the news out of Ukraine as gospel, despite being lied to about the news coming out of Ukraine for the last 10 years.
We are supposed to reason that Ukraine is the victim of a continuous attack from Russia because the mainstream media tells us that. Yet that same media told the American people that former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia in 2016, which came out of Ukraine (false), that Hunter Biden had no bad dealings with a Ukrainian energy company (false), that a Ukrainian Internet company did not lie about ties between Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin (false) and that Trump should be impeached over a conversation he had with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy (false).
I just want to put this out there. More than 50% of the globe has not condemned or sanctioned Russia for its invasion of Ukraine. It is essentially just some parts of Europe, America and somewhat Canada.
This should give us pause here in the US to figure out what the majority of the planet knows that we have not been privy to as far as news goes.
We are not suppose to hear how members of the Azov battalion, a volunteer group of Ukrainian nationalist many with neo-Nazi leanings, were not the instigators of Russia’s actions after years of killing many Russian-speaking Ukrainians in the eastern most areas of the country.
Oh, wait. You did not hear about these atrocities in the run up to the invasion?
Well that does not surprise me in the least. Leftist media was doing the bidding for the Democrats, who have used Ukraine and it foreign aid packages as its own piggy bank for a number of years.
Remember how then-Veep Joe Biden held up foreign aid money to Ukraine until a former president fired a national prosecutor looking into Hunter Biden’s role in the Ukrainian energy company and then was taped bragged about it in a meeting?
No, the media is deceiving us again with its reporting out of Ukraine. That’s not to say Russia is in the right with its actions, however Russia is not 100% to blame either.
There needs to be an accounting for how the narrative is crafted by the left so that the American people can make knowledgeable decisions on this conflict.
