Julian Assange’s mother tweets a Rich tale

Julian Assange’s mother, Christine Assange, tweeted yesterday and then deleted a post, which was interesting in its interpretation.

Ms. Assange wrote: “Its the duty of media to inform citizens about corruption,” adding “a #DNC #Bernie supporter disgruntled with rigging leaked docs proving corruption.”

“What should Wikileaks should have done? Hold on to them till after the election to advantage #Hillary?” she continued, adding “You are shooting the messenger!”

They person Ms. Assange describes as an affiliate of the Democratic National Committee and disgruntled Bernie Sanders supporter, describes murdered DNC IT professional Seth Rich.

Rich was jumped in the wee hours of July 10, 2016 while returning home from a bar. He survived the initial attack, which had no motive since nothing was taken from his person.

Rich died in the hospital hours later, in what was described as serious but not life threatening.

At the time of his attack revelations were becoming public of “hack” of the DNC servers. Included in the data was the revelation that Hillary Clinton’s campaign worked with DNC chiefs including DNC chief Debbie Wasserman Schultz to rig the debate between Clinton and Sanders by tipping the Clinton campaign to the questions before hand and steering money away from Sanders campaign.

The data dump wound up on Wikileaks, which Julian Assange has not said how he came about the information, he has stated it was not a state actor i.e. Russia.

This is the primary reason Julian Assange is still holed up in a South American embassy in London some two years later. The initial trumped up charges of sexual harassment in Sweden have been dropped by the government.

President Trump needs to grant Julian Assange a full pardon, in order for him to travel to the US and testify to Congress on what he knows of the information — I believe Seth Rich provided — to Wikileaks and what Rich might have told him of the peril he was experiencing.

As Assange’s mother said. Why shoot the messenger?
