What pardons are left under White House Christmas tree?

Well Christmas Eve day has arrived and Attorney General Bill Barr has left the Department of Justice, so doe that mean Julian Assange and Edwin Swoden pardons are on the list for today?

Barring that (pun intended), will the Covid-19 relief bill (it’s not stimulus since it’s just our money being given back to us with the feds taking a vig) be resent to President Trump with additional funds for Americans?

Trump does have a pocket veto on the bill, which means any bill sent to The White House for signing has 10 days for the president to act on it or it automatically becomes law. But since this Congress only has nine days left in its session, if he does nothing the bill dies.

Not sure he would do that, unless there is additional pork put in. He would also need to have a new Continuing Resolution to fund the government through the end of the year.

We will see if that “brilliant politician” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi overplayed her cards again.

On a personal note I would like to offer my readers and subscribers a wonderful Christmas wish. Thank you for all your emails and messages, I do read them all.

So as the days get longer and we move from dark to light, let’s hope the 12 Days of Christmas bring many good tidings to us all.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
