Obviously Mayor Bill de Blasio does not think it’s time for NYC to get to work as the city launched “It’s Time for Hip Hop in NYC” concert series in the four outer boroughs.
All the concerts in The Bronx, Staten Island, Brooklyn and Queens begin at 4PM.
Not sure why the city would go out of their way to punish people who enjoy Hip Hop that also work?
Especially now that businesses in the city are finding it difficult to find workers.
Is it a safety issue that they want the concerts to be over by 9:30? You really don’t think they have to go to work in the morning.
I have asked City Hall all these questions, but I have gotten no response from the Press Office.
While de Blasio is able to extol the home-grown musical acts playing at each of the venues, his office cannot explain the early start times.
