NY Attorney General Letitia James wants to start a state fund – with taxpayers dollars — to aid women from outside the state to come here to have an abortion.

The fund would cover the cost of the abortion, plus travel and hotel expenses for women traveling to the state, James said. The democrat has announced she is running for governor next year.

During her announcement James wants to, “establish a dedicated fund that would help support and provide financial resources to women across the country so that they could continue to make their own reproductive choices.”

James made this highly questionable suggestion with the Supreme Court taking on the question of whether abortion is a constitutional right or should be kicked back to the states while hearing oral arguments in the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, challenging a 2018 law that put a 15-week ban on abortions in Mississippi.

The High Court ruling is expected by next June.

The Empire State use to have the ad campaign that was “I Heart NY” well now a democratic candidate for governor is looking to change that to “I Skull & Crossbones NY”.
