The military coup d’etat against Trump

In a startling new revelation Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, allegedly conspired with Chinese military counterparts at the end of President Donald Trump’s term in case there was going to be a military action against Beijing.

The alleged coup d’etat is laid out in a new book by Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward and reporter Robert Costa entitled “Peril”. The authors claim Milley made two calls to his Chinese equal, Gen. Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army. The first call was on Oct. 30, 2020 and the second call was on Jan. 8 of this year.

“General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay,” the book alleges Milley told Li in January. “We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.”

Milley then told Li that if Trump did order an attack against China, “I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”

Trump released a statement on Tuesday saying Milley “would be tried for TREASON in that he would have been dealing with his Chinese counterpart behind the President’s back and telling China that he would be giving them notification ‘of an attack.’ Can’t do that!”

Trump has called Milley “a dumb ass” for his handling of the Afghan pull out. Perhaps Milley’s comfort with the Chinese military is the reason we gave up Bagram Airfield outside Kabul?

The strategic airport is only 400 miles from the Chinese border and could have been an important asset in the future.

“Actions should be taken immediately against Milley, and better generals in our Military, of which we have many, should get involved so that another Afghanistan disaster never happens again,” Trump said in his statement “I never even thought of attacking China—and China knows that,” he added.

Milley also conspired with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the book alleges, giving her his word that he would thwart any military actions the Trump administration attempted.

“The one thing I can guarantee is that as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, I want you to know that — I want you to know this in you heart of hearts, I can guarantee you 110 percent that the military, use of military power, whether it’s nuclear or a strike in a foreign country of any kind, we’re not going to do anything illegal or crazy,” Milley told Pelosi.

“Well,” Pelosi said, “what do you mean, illegal or crazy?”

“I can give you my word,” General Milley said. “The best I can do is give you my word and I’m going to prevent anything like that in the United States military.”

If these allegations are true and not just hype for a book coming out next week, then Milley should step down immediately.
