The left is mad as hell, but they keep on losing.
In a British special election last week the Conservative Party won the House of Commons seat in Copeland over the Labour candidate for the first time in over 80 years.
In France far-right nationalism champion Marine Le Pen is seen as leading, but in the press they write she is being pressured by Independent presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron.
However, these European reports are in the same publications that said Brexit would not happen and that Hillary Clinton would win the election.
Both socially and economically on a global scale the pendulum is seen swinging back not to a nationalistic bent just yet, but it is moving past the middle point.
In the US, the President Trump victory was seen as an outgrowth of this move to the middle, now where the pendulum will stop is anyone’s guess.
Suffice it to say that the left will continue using the “Fascist” labeling for the administration’s actions.
Stories like this one over the weekend: “A transgender teenager won a Texas state title for girls wrestling on Saturday — even though the wrestler, 17-year-old Mack Beggs, identifies as a boy.” have many Americans, who do not live near a coast, scratching their heads wondering how in the hell did we get here.
Even if you are aware of transgender issues, which I believe most non-coasters have little understanding about it, if the teen identifies as a male, why is he allowed to wrestle females to win a state championship? It’s political correctness run amok.
And this is one of the reasons why the pendulum is swinging back.
As an aside, how appropriate — given Trump’s election — that the Hollywood crowd at last night’s Oscar presentation announced the wrong film for winning the “Best Picture” award.
The left just can seem to get anything right, nowadays.
