A story hit the wires Monday suggesting that residential prices at Trump Tower has plummeted 30% since 2015.

The residential skyscraper, which is home to is home to 238 condominiums located between 56th and 57th Streets, was developed by Donald Trump in 1983.

According to Reuters, prices at Trump Tower have fallen further than comparable luxury high-rises in the Midtown area due to owners not wishing to put up with increased security and or wishing to be tied to the Trump name.

In the report, it makes no mention of the increase in fires that have hit the building over the last couple of months. As I wrote earlier this month, a White House source told me that a fire that claimed the life of its occupant was used as a cover for the FBI to break in to Trump’s residency to look for evidence of his involvement with lawyer Michael Cohen.

A FDNY report on the cause of the fire has not been released as yet.
