Robert Mueller’s day off

Special Counsel Robert Mueller resigned on Wednesday from his post and spoke about the Russian collusion report but appeared to trip himself up.

In the report Mueller stated that there was no consideration taken to charging a sitting president and that was not the reason he found no collusion or obstruction.

However, feeling the heat from Dims in the House, Mueller said on Wednesday that the reason he did not recommend charges in his report to Attorney General William Barr was because of the unwritten law that you cannot indict a sitting president.

Mueller also has a fantasy that his report speaks for itself and that he will not be appearing before Dim congressman Jerry Nadler and his committee or reporters anytime soon.

The flip-flop was an attempt by Mueller to give the House Dims another avenue to push for impeachment and keep that narrative alive while not actually charging President Trump.

It’s disgraceful the partisanship Mueller is showing. The report said there was no collusion. There was no obstruction. However, now Mueller is saying the reason for him coming to that conclusion was tainted by the fact that he could not indict.

Disgraceful.
