Kanye West could hold the key to the 2020 presidential election.

The rapper announced in a tweet on the 4th of July he was running for the highest office.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States.”

The tweet included an American flag emoji, and the #2020VISION.

While both Ye and his wife Kim Kardashian have been supporters of President Trump. They have both been to the Trump Oval Office and have worked on prison reform with Trump. Ye even donned a Make America Great Again hat for photo ops.

However, many election strategists see his entry as coming too late to have any real impact due to problem of getting on enough state ballots.

But let’s remember this is 2020 and anything can and will happen.

Should Kanye pursue this effort, I believe he will ensure Trump’s re-election given he will pull most of his support from Democratic challenger Joe Biden voters. even id Ye pulls 10 percent of voters away from Biden, that should split the vote enough to ensure a Trump victory in Nov.

So to look at it another way, the most important person in the 2020 presidential election could be Kanye West and isn’t that exactly what he wants?
