What is going on in New York?

Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor Bill de Blasio announced a $27 million Hurricane Ida relief fund for undocumented New Yorkers who don’t qualify for FEMA assistance.

At the same time these two Democrats are looking to fire tens of thousands New Yorkers for not being vaccinated. Teachers, nurses, doctors may lose their jobs because they want to have control over their bodies.

So while the Ida relief fund shows compassion for those among us who may be here illegally, hard working, tax-paying citizens are being shown no such options. At the very least these people should be allowed to be tested weekly, like other city and state employees.

A federal court is scheduled to hear NYC Department of Education vaccine mandate case this week and has granted a temporary stay on implementing it on Monday.

I believe it is time for the federal courts to reign in these unconstitutional mandates.
