So who are the real losers in the jury acquitting Kyle Ritttenhouse in Kenosha, Wis. on Friday?

Leftist politicians and mainstream media biases are now on full display even after the verdict.

Many including NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio tweeted after the ruling how bad the verdict was because the accused brought a gun over state lines, which is a lie and was proven during the trial. Rittenhouse’s friend, who testified for the prosecution, told the jury the gun was only in Wisconsin.

What also came out in the trial was the fact that Ritttenhouse was not the only person armed with a long firearm during the riots. Scores of demonstrators were armed, many illegally had hand guns including Gaige Grosskreutz, who was wounded by Ritttenhouse.

The court dropped the gun charge before deliberations began because it was not applicable in the prosecution of Ritttenhouse.

Some may cite the real losers being Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, who died that night as well as Grosskreutz. I’m sure the jury members gave a long sigh of relief over the verdict after they learned of the horrendous past crimes of these rioters. You cannot call them victims, because the jury said Ritttenhouse was defending his life against each of them.

Another wrong take by the left including President Joe Biden, who accused Ritttenhouse of being a white supremacist. All of the rioters shot were white, with extensive video of Rosenbaum using the N-word many, many times.

So biased was this case that even the cause of the riots is being manipulated. While the Kenosha riots occurred after the George Floyd murder, these riots were sparked by the shooting of Jacob Blake, who was menacing the mother of his baby and tried to pull a knife on police responding to her call for help.

Blake violated a court-ordered restraining order. When police asked Blake to stop walking toward his vehicle he did not comply but reached into his vehicle to retrieve a knife. Blake was not killed by police, he is paralyzed from the waist down.

I want to give a big thank you to the jury members in Kenosha. They did the right thing and deliberated without fear or favor and did not take the easy way out.

How can the leftist media survive? Well their echo chamber will never hear any of what I laid out above. Sure some have come out to say they never saw much of the video presented at the trial demonstrating the aggression Ritttenhouse had to endure during the evening.

A case in point on the media bias, was a post by former New York Times reporter Nellie Bowles on Thursday on Substack. Bowles was covering the riots in Kenosha for the paper.

She filed a story that contradicted the wrong-think narrative of the day that said it was just property that was being destroyed and that police should let the rioters be since the owners have insurance.

Bowles put the lie to that narrative by pointing out that the riots were happening in impoverished neighborhoods with mainly minority-owned buildings, which probably did not have enough insurance coverage to replace the burned out business.

Ritttenhouse was protecting one of these businesses during the riots.

While Bowles filed her story in August, the Times editors held the story until after the 2020 election. They told Bowles they were holding the piece citing “space, timing, tweaks,” according to her post.

The Ritttenhouse decision could be the pendulum coming back towards the middle, but it will probably take another year or so to get there.
