With CoVid the show must not go on

Is this what our lives will be like for the next few years? Returning to “normal” only to have it all taken away in a blink of the eye.

After just one performance the Broadway show “Aladdin” has been shut down due to the musical’s cast and/or crew testing positive for COVID-19.

You must be kidding me if you believe New York City is coming back anytime soon with these ridiculous restrictions and mandates.

‘Through our rigorous testing protocols, breakthrough COVID-19 cases have been detected within the company of ‘Aladdin’ at The New Amsterdam Theater,” Disney, which owns the theater company said.

When are we going to get to the point where if someone calls in sick, we do not close down a Broadway show or other businesses?

That time does not appear to be anytime soon as President Biden’s chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci told “The Atlantic” magazine that to be totally vaccinated you need to have a booster shot.

“It is likely, for a real complete regimen, that you would need at least a third dose,” Fauci said. Leaving the door open for even more jabs down the road.

Fauci’s comments come a day after Biden received his booster shot in the White House.

Well I guess it’s “A Whole New World” we are living in now.
