Nunes criminal referrals may move Huber/Horowitz probes forward

California Republican Congressman Devin Nunes will bring his criminal referrals to Attorney General William Barr early this week.

Nunes has publicly said he has eight initial charges against numerous individuals for leaking, lying to Congress. The representative, who has been in the middle of probing the FISA abuse during the Obama administration, suggested that some journalists should be questioned about the leaks.

Nunes, ranking member of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, also said he will give the referrals directly to Barr since there are still questionable characters working within the upper ranks of the Department of Justice and FBI.

Barr will more than likely refer these charges to existing investigations being conducted by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz and/or Federal Attorney John Huber since he has also hinted that the clearing out of rogue elements within the DOJ still needs to be completed.

I am very confident that within Nunes referrals is a charge against fellow California democratic congressman Adam Schiff, who now chairs intelligence committee. Schiff was requested to step down from that position by republicans last week after the release of the Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report  found no collusion with the Russians and no obstruction of justice by the Trump administration or campaign.

Since the charges deal with classified information we will not know who is being charged by Nunes, but it is safe to say that the upper echelon of the Obama administration along with the intelligence chiefs and DOJ and FBI officials will be included.

I have a sense that the Nunes charges and all the supporting classified documents contained within the charges may be just the information that either Huber or Horowitz need to move their respective cases forward.

Rep. Nunes files suit against Twitter and shadow banning

Republican Congressman Devin Nunes filed a lawsuit against Twitter on Monday, claiming the social media site has “shadow banned” conservatives and is seeking $250 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages against the social media site.

The California Republican is accusing Twitter of “shadow-banning conservatives” to secretly hide their posts, systematically censoring opposing viewpoints, and totally “ignoring” lawful complaints of repeated abusive behavior.

As many of you know Gray’s Economy has fallen victim to this practice. In 2018 I would average 3,000 Twitter hits a day to this blog. I am down to 27-30. At one point earlier this year I was getting 3 hits a day from the site. I could see the posts I put on my feed, but when I went to another computer or changed IP addresses I could not see the posts.

The suit comes after a drop on Sunday night, which showed very clearly that the comments and likes for the Tweet were also manipulated with far left commentators being moved to the top despite having less views or likes than the followers of the tweeter.

The suit also accuses Twitter of “knowingly hosting and monetizing content that is clearly abusive, hateful and defamatory… thereby facilitating defamation on its platform.”

Nunes’s included a number of tweets posted by the user @DevinNunesMom as evidence of the alleged abuse in his suit.

“Between February 2018 and March 2019, Twitter allowed @DevinNunesMom to post hundreds of egregiously false, defamatory, insulting abusive, hateful, scandalous and vile statements about Nunes that without question violated Twitter’s Terms of Service and Rules,” par of the complaint states.

Deep State spouses are also bad actors

I posted this item about eight days ago, however I believe it has relevance today.

The FBI’s Deputy Assistant Director of the Counterintelligence Division Peter Strzok was fired by the deputy director of the bureau on Monday for his anti-Trump bias while investigating the Russian collusion case.

While that may be an easy charge to pin on him given the number of tweets he shared with FBI lawyer Lisa Page and how they wrote how they would stop Trump from being elected, I believe Strzok along with DOJ’s former associate deputy attorney general Bruce Ohr will be charged with further crimes for covering up the Russian Dossier.

Both Stzok and Ohr covered up the origins of the dossier when it was presented to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) court for approval to spy on Trump campaign associate Carter Page. They did not tell the court that the Fusion/GPS document written by former MI-6 spy Christopher Steele was financed through the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.

In December 2017, Bruce Ohr was removed from his position as US associate deputy attorney general over his involvement with the dossier.

Now let’s look at the spouses of these two men.

Bruce Ohr is married to Nellie Ohr and according to a House Intelligence Committee memo released by Chairman Devin Nunes, Nellie Ohr was “employed by Fusion GPS to assist in the cultivation of opposition research on Trump” and that Bruce Ohr passed along the results of that research, which was paid for by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton campaign, to the FBI. The “salacious and unverified” dossier was used to obtain a FISA surveillance warrant to spy on Carter Page.

Peter Strzok is married to Melissa Hodgman who is an Associate Director in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Enforcement Division since Oct. 2016.

Hodgman was named to the position two days after her husband discovered that the New York office of the FBI found 650,000 emails on Anthony Weiner’s lap top.

Many of the emails between Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin, Weiner’s wife, showed at the very least they were using an unsecured private server containing classified documents. We may never know all that was on that laptop, but Weiner is serving a 21-month sentence for engaging in lewd acts with a 15-year-old girl online.

In Hodgman’s new position she could direct or coordinate investigations between the SEC and DOJ utilizing FBI enforcement staff. She also oversees international investigations, leading some to speculate at the time that Hodgman could be an “insurance policy” to look into financial records between Russians and the Trump campaign should that need to be done.

Need to look at the spouses of disgraced FBI and DOJ officials

Documents on tarmac meeting between Clinton & Lynch now classified above top secret

The Department of Justice stonewalling Congress on the Hillary Clinton email probe continues.

Now the documents requested by Devin Nunes’ permanent House committee pertaining to the meeting between Loretta Lynch and President Bill Clinton on a Phoenix airport tarmac have been given such a high security clearance that no member can see the incriminating documents.

“It is remarkable how this Justice Department is protecting the corruption of the Obama Justice Department,” notes Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch, which is suing the DOJ for the material, speaking to Paul Sperry of RealClear Investigations.

Not even members of Congress with top-secret security clearance have been allowed to see the unverified accounts intercepted from presumed Russian sources in which the head of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, allegedly implicates the Clinton campaign and Lynch in the scheme, Sperry reports.

This goes back to my reporting last week were I said that Rod Rosenstein would be the fall guy to cover up this cover up that reached into the Obama Oval Office.

While the Wasserman Schultz memos show that then-FBI chief James Comey was “going easy on Lynch” over the hacked email server used by Clinton while Secretary of State, there are additional reports that Obama was on the phone during the infamous tarmac meeting.

So one can see why these reports are “so sensitive” for the Democrats.
