What’s the status of Facebook and DARPA

In the latest drops from early Thursday morning we see a curious connection between Facebook and a Defense Department program called LifeLog.

The LifeLog program run by DARPA, the same agency that brought us the Internet, was an ambitious effort to build a database to track a person existence.

The project was killed on Feb. 4 2004, the exact same day Facebook was founded.

The drops point out, according to Pentagon documents that LifeLog was to be a single place where everything an individual says, sees or does, the phone calls made, the TV shows watched, the magazines read, the plane tickets bought, the e-mail sent and received could be gathered.

Out of this seemingly endless ocean of information, computer scientists would plot distinctive routes in the data, mapping relationships, memories, events and experiences.

The coincidence of this drop coming right after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg released a company blog post Wednesday stating that the company was going to do a much better job at protecting people’s privacy.

He laid out new initiatives on how encryption would protect the Facebook users from prying eyes of government as well as Facebook.

It’s quite interesting that the Zuckerberg would pick this particular Wednesday to issue this new manifesto, since it appears that they have not done much with privacy since it’s founding in 2004.

In the drops it was also point out that China — implying that they know something about the Pentagon background — does not allow Facebook to operate in the country.

Last night’s postings also pointed out that it would be difficult to get people involved in the LifeLog program if they know it’s from the Pentagon. So what doe you do? You give the new entity (Facebook) a cool back story with an Ivy League pedigree and find a founder with ties to the military-industrial complex to run it.

Nothing I have written above is new information that has not been out there in some publications, however the other program DARPA was running concurrently with LifeLog was leveraged against devices?

Did you know:

  • Do they know it’s been expanded to tap into the microphone of any device for listening and bulk data collection?
  • Do they know it’s been expanded to tap into the GPS router of the device for real-time tracking?
  • Do they know it’s been expanded to tap into the camera function of the device in order to view/record all target designators?

These are some of the travails that could befall you when you upload a status of share a location with your “Friends” at Facebook.

Why so little coverage of the Yellow Vest protests?

Busy weekend on the drops with the overarching theme being what is being offered by the media — and what is not — to affect the narrative presented to citizens.

First case in point is the ongoing demonstrations in France with the Yellow Vests. Little coverage in the US of the thousands of people injured over the last month by police while the numbers of protestors grows. There have also been many protester deaths as a result of clashes with the police.

Cars burning near the Eiffel Tower as tens of thousands of French citizens demand changes to the socialist government policies. Why are we not seeing media coverage? Because the French protestors are asking for a halt to open border immigration and other EU initiatives, which are being pushed by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels and elsewhere.

We can hardly have the narrative playing out in the US that people globally abhor open borders while the Democrats push not fund a border wall.

Second case is the funding bill being worked on to keep the government open. The President wants roughly $6B for construction. The Democrats are hard-pressed to provide.

This really is a symbolic fight since the White House already hasΒ  the funding through last year’s military spending bill. No this fight is about optics and how far the liberals will take this fight. Will they close the government again over this issue?

Trump took responsibility for the first shutdown last month, however this one will be on the Senate and House liberal Democrats.

Will this lead to a split within their ranks? Perhaps as more centralist House Democrats — fearing a tough election coming up — challenge the far left with digging in their heels on this issue.

Last case is the continuing negative coverage of Q-Anon phenomenon being publicized in the media. The question posed is enlightening. If it is just a conspiracy theory, then why do hundreds of negative stories come up on a Google News search from major news outlets?

Why bother publicizing a fake moment? Why bother telling people not to look at it, if as many articles say, it is a fringe radical movement with a small following?

It falls under the line from “Hamlet” ““The lady [press] doth protest too much, methinks.”

The gold standard and the Fed

Fed chair Jay Powell is scheduled to give a press conference Wednesday after announcing that the central bank will hold rates steady as expected.

Powell’s comments and the language in the statement on future hikes will be what markets are looking at for direction.

We all have seen that the Fed has looked under every rock in the economy to find inflation and has come up empty. It is still trending below the 2% threshold that the Fed uses to assess its policies.

Yes Powell & Co. prick the asset bubble know as the stock market to curtail that inflationary aspect by jawboning future rate hikes much to President Trump’s ire.

When talking about the Fed it was very interesting that President Trump retweeted Tuesday a Laura Ingraham post (below).

The post links the US economy to the “Gold Standard”. The president replies, “So true and not even close.”

Trump hinted during the presidential campaign he would like to go back to a gold standard for the dollar, which would send gold prices soaring in order to sustain that move.

However, gold prices over the last 10 days have risen close to $30 an ounce and broken through the long-held sub-$1,300 mark.

We also have this drop from Dec.12, 2018 No. 2619 answering a query if we have the gold:

Yes.
Gold shall destroy FED.
Q

So we have multiple mentions of the Fed and gold from various sources. Might it be wise to pick up some of the “ancient relic” as so many modern pundits call gold?

Not advising either way, but gold appears to be having a moment. On Nov. 13, 2018 gold was trading at $1,213 an ounce. Today it is $1,318 an ounce.

Hmm.

Separating Q wheat from 8-Chan chaff

This post is for those who are not aware of the Q-Anon phenomenon and for those who confuse it with the 8-Chan bulletin board.

While Q does post his drops on the 8Chan board, it is only used as an unrestricted means of communicating without fear of censorship or takedown. The drops represent real-time intelligence of the Trump administration.

The proofs of inside knowledge from Q drops are countless and present far too many examples to be coincidental in nature. As Q has posted numerous time: “At what point does it become mathematically impossible?” for the information to be coincidental.

A perfect example of this was the drop on July 27 12018 showing a photo of ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page in her only trip to London in 2016 to see the information amassed by English spy agencies against the Trump campaign. She is photographed with her ex-lover FBI lead investigator Peter Strzok.

How does that photo (see below) become available to be posted unless Q has the ability to access intelligence files?

And of course it has the tag line of “when does a bird sing?” which was exactly what Ms. Page was doing at the time. Testifying before grand jury and also to closed congressional panels as to what she knew about the bogus Russian collusion probe.

So does Q-Anon’s credibility suffer from those he say he posts on 8-Chan where many posts are anti-Semitism and misogyny.

Yes there are plenty of them on 8-Chan and the nomenclature is at best rude and at the worst disgusting and a complete turn off to any newbie venturing onto the site.

That being said there is also some high-quality research being dropped often prodded by Q posts on 8-Chan. The important posts are labeled notables are can be found without scrolling through all the chaff that gives 8-Chan its Internet ghetto label.

Trainspotting with Maggie Haberman

I wrote two days ago about New York Times White House correspondent Maggie Haberman.

Well Haberman has been a topic on the drops from time to time, but has come to the fore recently. On Jan. 5th 2019 this drop was made again from the Podesta email leaks citing Haberman’s compliance with Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign:

https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/7524πŸ“
“We have has a very good relationship with Maggie Haberman of Politico over the last year. We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed. While we should have a larger conversation in the near future about a broader strategy for reengaging the beat press that covers HRC, for this we think we can achieve our objective and do the most shaping by going to Maggie.”
You are not safe.
Q

On Jan. 6th 2019 we have these two drops:

We can talk through code or we can act through transparency. The choice is yours. However, the clock is ticking, and, at a select point in time, that option will be expired. Regular service appointments should be made in order to maintain functionality.
Q
The Twitter links above referenced above are below. The code brought up in the drops seem to be referencing the use of the word train. What do train references mean (if anything)?
Is it the transportation mode or is it learning something well through rote? And who may be needing this information?
We can assume given her left-leaning bias that was released in the Podesta email, the prospective audience may be in the former Obama and Clinton camps.

People in White House sound as confused as everyone else about what happens after the president’s EO, which McGahn was against him signing. There’s inter-agency disagreement about what it means. Trump now essentially tunes his chief of staff out, Trump driving the train.

—————–

On Jan.9th after all the back and forth with the drops, Haberman re-Tweeted this from an Asst. Managing Editor at the Times asking for a pic of people riding outside the train.

Now a bit of background. Dolnick is the grandnephew to former Times publisher Arthur Ochs β€œPunch” Sulzberger and cousin to the current publisher.
I’ll leave this post here for now, but this will need to be watched going forward on both sides to see if anything is dug up to clarify the communications. A warning has been issued.
Please watch the gap.
