China’s 3 Gorges Dam stressing out the world

This post comes from our international desk. While I don’t usually write on the global economy this is big enough since it has plenty of impact for the US.

Did you know China has killed more US citizens — directly or indirectly — over the last four years than all the military and civilians killed in World War II.

Through China’s manufacturing of Fentanyl — the synthetic opioid that is 80-100 times stronger than morphine — and the Covid-19 virus, which was released from a level 4 bio-lab in Wuhan, these deaths far exceed the 419,000 killed in the World War II and are still growing daily.

So now, China has finally admitted that its colossal Three Gorges Dam — the largest structure on Earth besides The Great Wall to the north — is buckling under historically high water from rains to the west.

More than 400,000 Chinese live down river from the dam with huge agricultural implications should the Three Gorges Dam fail. Wuhan and its bio-lab along with countless nuclear plants are also in harms way.

The dam failure could make Covid-19 look like a walk in the park for the globe as food shortages and environmental disasters unfold in the wake of the torrent.

Satellite images detected a warping of the dam on Monday, but Chinese Communist Party officials would only say they are monitoring the situation.

The more you know!
