McConnell, Pelosi agree on nixing peace dividend

The bipartisan Deep State is scrambling to undo President Trump’s decision to pull troops out of Syria.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Adam Schiff quickly organized an unannounced Democratic congressional visit to Afghanistan and Jordan over the weekend.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell penned an Op-Ed article on Sunday questioning Trump’s decision on troop deployment.

However, Pelosi appears to believe she has more foreign ministerial powers to conduct policy after her White House showdown last week.

Given the across the aisle opposition to Trump’s decision to get out of these “forever wars” and the panic that resulted in rushed junkets to war-torn lands, this appears to have more to do with future drugs and arms sales than policy.

The last thing the US defense industry wants to see is a peace dividend. It also appears that Congress is in agreement with that.

  1. One wonders exactly WHEN things are going to go down??!! After the Mexican gov’t gave in to the cartel in Culiacan it should drive home just how powerful this drug cartel thing IS!!! Good ‘ol Barry helped them out immensely during his 8 years!! In parts of our SW there are areas that even have “Casiques” like in Old Mexico. We “Normies” have NO CLUE about the war already being fought….just a matter of time til we see it being fought in our own streets & communities. My heart goes out to our fellow citizens living along the Southern border… is like living in a war zone!!!
