Trump’s legal eagles soared at impeachment trial

The President’s legal team delivered a devastating one-two punch in Monday’s impeachment trial in the Senate.

Pam Bondi the former Florida Attorney General and constitutional lawyer Alan Dershowitz brought to light the two most important points in the impeachment trial: Joe Biden’s Ukrainian operations involving his son Hunter and how the two articles brought by the House Managers do not meet the framers idea of high crimes and misdemeanors, respectfully.

While Biondi’s timeline of possible Ukraine corruption between the Bidens and Burisma — the energy company that put Hunter Biden on its board — could have opened some people’s eyes. My readers knew about this for over a year.

I would think most of Biondi’s presentation came from Rudy Giuliani’s probe into Ukrainian corruption. Giuliani is suppose to release more information on his blog Tuesday.

What Biondi “missed” was a discussion of the Atlantic Council’s involvement in the Ukraine, which I wrote earlier would not come up since there is bipartisan connections with this NATO-friendly think tank.

Speaking of Atlantic Council, just prior to Hunter Biden taking his board seat on Burisma, he received a Navy Reserve commission at 40-years old. I believe at that time he received one of the encrypted Blackberry phones used by AC members to run their covert arms operations out of Ukraine.

Perhaps Giuliani will explore this angle on his Ukrainian corruption presentation.

The other big news of the day was that of ex-National Security Advisor John Bolton’s book leak to The New York Times saying that President Trump was thinking of pressuring Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into his country’s corruption and involvement in the 2016 presidential election.

Well where did the leak come from?

It appears that Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman — twin brother of impeachment hearing witness Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman — was in charge of reviewing all publications by current and former National Security Council officials prior to publishing.

Is it not funny how that news comes out on the Monday of the impeachment trial. As my readers know there are no coincidences.
