Here’s where we are today. The governor of New York threaten President Trump with bodily harm if he ventured in the city.

“My administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones,” President Trump wrote in a new directive to federal funding agencies on Wednesday.

The president followed up with a tweet that said, “[the feaderal goverment ] will do everything in its power to prevent weak mayors and lawless cities from taking federal dollars while they let anarchists harm people, burn buildings, and ruin lives and businesses. We’re putting them on notice today.”

“He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York. New Yorkers don’t want to have anything to do with him,” Cuomo said in a hurried press conference after Trump criticized the escalating violence in Democratic-contolled cities and states.

Cuomo in an attempt to bolster his own bravo said, “He can’t have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City, people don’t want to have anything to do with him.”

Are you kidding me. You are threatening the President of the United States.

Please talk to New York City business owners who are dying to have law and order brought back to Gotham. President Trump has. He didn’t offer these business titan a meal, he offered them security and peace in the future.

Talk to commercial and residential property owners in Manhattan and see how they feel about Trump coming back. Talk to franchisee owners and see how they feel about Cuomo’s threat.

These business owners are looking for leadership, something you cannot find at City Hall or Albany.

Cuomo added, “It is more of the same from him. It’s political, it is gratuitous. And it’s illegal. But it is another attempt to kill New York City.”

This from a governor who has kept New York City on lock down, while opening up Republican areas in the state. How in the world can he suggest that Trump’s decisions are political when he thwarts business people from opening up New York City with an infection rate that is as low as the 10-year bond yield?

Cuomo alleges that Trump wants to kill New York City, despite his organization being based there. But go ahead New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and put a Black Lives Matter street sign painted outside one of his high-scale property.

The fool hearted decisions made by Cuomo and de Blasio have crippled the city, where daytime shootings and attempted rape are more the norm. The crime stats are off the charts from years earlier.

Good luck bringing commuters into Penn Station or Grand Central with the shape of those two principle commuter hubs.

As I wrote earlier, Cuomo believes he has a chance of replacing Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden at the top of the ticket and he will take the anti-Trump message to his constituency.

However I believe, that even with Cuomo on top of the ticket, he could not carry New York state.

New Yorkers are feed up with this lock down and are experiencing what are called “food deserts” where that have to walk many blocks to find milk, eggs and bread because the riots took out so many stores.
