President Trump believes the draconian decisions made by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio have put New York in play for the 2020 presidential election.
“I think we have a very good chance. Who can be happy if you live in Manhattan and your taxes are going through the roof? And your quality of life is way down, and they’re defunding the police?” Trump told the New York Post.
How can anybody living in New York believe that Joe Biden will restore law and order to the city?
As I wrote earlier New York City will be lost for the next ten years due to the actions taken by Democratic leadership over the last 5 months during the Covid-19 shutdown. So many businesses are gone from the city due to the idiotic decisions made by Cuomo and de Blasio.
While the democrats assume New York is a shoe in for them, President Ronald Reagan won the state against Walter Mondale.
“Over the last six months what’s happened is insane. It’s insane. So we’re going to try very hard to win New York and that will be the first time — is that since Ronald Reagan, I guess?” Trump told The Post.
As my readers know I am not in the prediction game, but at this time I could see a similar result in Nov. that Reagan enjoyed when he took 49 states in the Electoral College.
President Trump told the paper, “I will bring down taxes and I’ll make sure that New York City is a safe place. I mean, this is one of our cherished — this is a cherished diamond of this country. And we can’t let this happen to New York.”
I have only been writing this for the last three months, so I am sure it will ring true for many New Yorkers.
Right on, Michael!! This must be heart-sickening for any full-time New Yorkers!! I’ve only been there once & that was back in 1964 during the World’s Fair!!

I actually heard midwits say that voting for Biden is the only way to stop BLM and Antifa from burning everything down.
Something is changing slowly. Some of the more rabid leftists I know turned down their TDS now that the streets are significantly more dirty, businesses quit and are no longer cleaning the sidewalks, and the homeless poop in between parked cars as there are no restrooms available anymore
